THE DON BONANA STORY

Welcome to the official website of Don Bohana. This website preserves the story of Don's life and introduces his Road to Vindication. The story follows his journey from being a successful entrepreneur to the national coverage of his court case. After his release three years ago, he is committed to telling his side of the story and to ensuring that his wrongful conviction never happens to anyone else. 


Before his conviction, Don was the first Black Denny's franchise owner and built a successful business career. Following his conviction, he spent 25 years in prison before his release. During those years, he studied the justice system firsthand and developed ideas focused on prison reform, education, and successful reentry into society.


The Road to Vindication also introduces Don's case for his wrongful conviction. He will present the real story of the trial by providing evidence of the investigation, trial, and conviction. Together, the website and the book preserve a lifetime of experiences and the legacy Don hopes to leave behind.
